Plantations

ecoForests (ecoBosques) works in abandoned deforested areas that have been used for agricultural or livestock purposes.

Our plantations also include primary forests and lagoons, which are preserved to maintain the biodiversity.

Our plots are 100% outright owned by the company, free of charges and encumbrances, and are located in some of the best forest areas in the world.

Our plots and planted trees are always supervised by our forestry and agricultural engineers who plan and organise soil analyses, determine appropriate fertilizers, weed extraction, tree pruning or actions required to combat potential plagues, as well as any take the risks that may be required to ensure to correct growth of the tree to guarantee optimum results at the end of the production cycle.

We also have the infrastructures required for organised intensive farming, such as fencing, drip irrigation, fire prevention facilities, paths to all sectors, windbreakers, etc.

As an additional guarantee, we have insured our plantations with two prestigious companies, “INS”*in Costa Rica and “Willis” in Argentina, to cover damages caused by fire, personal damages, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc.

Plantations

All our plantations have Forestry certifications, which guarantee that the forestry products come from plantations managed correctly following International Standards that take into account environment, social and financial aspects.
