Welcome to ecoForests (ecoBosques), a leading Spanish company devoted to harvesting Tropical and subtropical fine hardwood in deforested areas in Costa Rica and Argentina since 2004.

Our company’s regular activity already has a positive effect on both the environment and on the developing societies we work with. However, we are also strongly committed to delivering top quality in the sustainable value chain* pertaining to timber, as the first step required in eco-designing** and eco-products*** that use timber as their raw material.

Our forestry management validated, commercial management, marketing, HR management, and our CSR all bear these goals in mind.

Furthermore, ecoForests (ecoBosques), a company established by a founder with vast corporate experience and a serious and responsible (perhaps even peculiar) corporate outlook:

· Has excellent financial health suited to its volume, has a share capital of €2,700,000, and is the outright owner of all plots (free of charges and encumbrances) that are currently being harvested, i.e. 6 plots in Costa Rica and 2 in Argentina.

· Considers accountability and information as key to gaining the trust of all the people, organisations, associations and companies. Therefore, BDO Audiberia has been auditing the company since its creation.

· We co-plant. In other words, we plant with you and we offer the counter-guarantee of planting, in other plots, the same number of trees sold. Plots are supervised by Forestry and Agricultural Engineers.

We have HQs in Alicante and Madrid, and offices in Canada, Costa Rica, Argentina, Lisbon and London.

ecoForests (ecoBosques) is party to collaboration agreements signed in several countries with AIDIMA, INTA and FUNDEVI to ensure the proper management of plots and the performance of specific studies.

We currently manage 500 hectares, with over 350,000 planted trees. We also have certified nurseries in Costa Rica and proprietary sawmills in Argentina.
